The one I'm using for Windows 7 works fine and has no issues whatsoever and is quite a few meters away from my Netgear router, the R6300. The new Windows 10 machine is much closer to the router so range is not a problem but the wifi adapter keeps disconnecting almost every minute.

Feb 16, 2007 · Okay, I currently have an Atheros 5005G miniPCI wireless adapter. However, everytime I connect to my network, it keeps disconnecting, then reconnecting. It constantly does that, and goes off and on. I've tried reintalling the driver, reinstalling windows, and turning off the firewall. What is the problem?
